General Information

This conference sponsored by the Ethiopian Association of Civil Engineers and the Civil Engineering Department of the Addis Ababa University is a first of its kind and will be held in Addis Ababa on January 8-9, 2003. Presenters are to be from Ethiopian academics and practicing engineers from the Diaspora as well as those inside Ethiopia. One of the main motivations of the conference is to contribute to "reverse brain-drain" efforts in a meaningful and sustainable way. The scope of the conference includes:

§ Geotechnical Engineering

The deadline for a 1-page abstract is November 15, 2002.
The deadline for registering is December 23rd 2003.
